Designed with full duplex technology, the Ultraplex System permits simultaneous communication between your crew and your customers. Split signal reception and transmission helps maintain clear and uninterrupted communication throughout the restaurant. And, the integration of Advanced Digital Noise Reduction (ADNR)*, based on new technology developed by Panasonic, significantly reduces annoying background wind, hiss and mechanical noises.

*Note: ADNR must be switched off to use the Ultra ALC feature.

OPERATIONAL FEATURES

Offering you solid functionality for standard drive-thru operations, the Panasonic Ultraplex System includes a licensed or license-free system choice, convenient, dynamic order taker units and cost saving battery management advantages. Optional hands-free operation allows the user to maintain simultaneous communication with customers while performing multiple tasks.

Operating Range
Stores that don't need an extended operating range benefit from the license-free 900MHz System. The higher power UHF System, while requiring FCC Licensing, provides expanded communication opportunities. An operator may quickly change frequency by selecting one of 16 channels provided in either system.

System Components
The lightweight Ultraplex Headset is flexible for comfortable positioning and incorporates a dynamic speaker/microphone with swivel extension constructed for durability. Quality sound is made possible with electret condenser technology.

The Ultraplex Order Taker, one of the smallest and lightest in the industry, is comfortable to wear and use for extended periods of time.

  • Multi-function LED indicators clearly show status of many functions, including power, talk-lock feature activation, self-test modes, and channel "A" or "B" dual-lane operation.
  • Audible and visible low battery indicators alert wearer to battery recharging needs.
  • Easy access nylon and velcro® case and one-button battery eject allow for quick battery change.

With the variable power draw and sleep mode of the order taker, Ultraplex Batteries are designed for up to 15 hours of battery operation per charge.

  • Battery Smart Chargers, with charger time of 5 hours or less, provide up to 1,000 charges per battery.
  • Four-Port Chargers, with built-in conditioner slot for extended battery life, can be mounted on a wall for space savings.
