The Panasonic® Integrated POS/CCTV System (IPCS)
Panasonic® IPCS monitoring capability includes the recording of POS operations through the capture of workstation transaction by a POS-interface Camera Unit (POS-ICU). The text is overlaid on a video of POS workstation activity captured by a CCTV camera. This integrated image can then be viewed on a monitor and/or videotaped on a Video Tape Recorder.

Simply stated, the IPCS is a video journal of POS workstation operations. It offers you the ability to proactively assess operations by providing you with a visual record of your POS transactions. Review options of the IPCS allows you to keep an eye on specific transactions of concern to your business. Up to 24 programmable exceptions are available to custom-design your review process.

• Management may want to verify that yesterday's orders were registered as served. Your video journal displays the order text on the screen as you view the cashier/bartender serving the food/drinks.
• You may choose to view employee clock-in/outs to verify entry.
• Random customer interaction can be viewed to evaluate customer service.
